Weddings in Bar Harbor
Bar Harbor is quintessential Maine, a beautiful bay dotted with islands. The view from in town is gorgeous and even better from Acadia National Park which has the advantage of elevation. The town is packed in the summer. Tourists from cruise ships flood the downtown, but even with the crowds it's charming. I highly recommend the Bar Harbor Inn and Spa. The rooms are nice and the grounds are stunning. You can hold the entire event at their venue. Make sure you book well in advance. Rooms are not cheap in the summer, but you can find good deals in the fall. The rocky beaches and rugged coastline are the perfect backdrop for wedding portraits.
